This course will provide knowledge and practical skills on how to eliminate masticatory muscle compensations, find a physiologically favorable temporomandibular joint position, and individually rehabilitate the masticatory system. Special attention will be given to biomechanical analysis and the integration of digital technologies – CBCT, intraoral scanning, facial scanning, and muscle measurements. ⸻ Training Program Day 1 •Introduction to Neuromuscular Dentistry: anatomy, pathophysiology, diagnostic protocols with airway analysis. •Radiology and clinical signs, postural diagnosis. •“Right Bite Addition” method – bite registration protocol and orthotics. •Ideal occlusion analysis, DTR protocol. •Overview of occlusal theories: physiologic CR, Kois, Slavicek, NM, phonetic analysis. •Physiological vs pathological trajectory. Day 2 •Dental Sleep Medicine: sleep apnea, bruxism, “Right Bite” protocol for sleep appliances. •Demonstration of EMG, TENS, and jaw movement tracking (MyoAxiography). •Clinical case studies with various joint repositioning splints. •Demonstration of jaw repositioning, CAD/CAM integration, splint design. Day 3 •Clinical practice: participants work in pairs in a dental clinic (5 dental chairs). •Hands-on bite registration using EMG and jaw tracking. •Fabrication, adjustment, and balancing of a reprogramming neuromuscular splint. ⸻ Value for Participants •Determination of individual occlusal position by eliminating muscle compensations. •Integrated system (CBCT + intraoral scan + facial scan + muscle measurements) saves time and ensures precise results. •Knowledge applicable in prosthodontics, orthodontics, orthognathic surgery, and sports dentistry. •Function becomes the foundation for long-term aesthetics and overall body biomechanics. ⸻ |
