 Insights into the core aspects of a functional posterior restorations and anatomical shapes. Why the ability to name every groove and ridge is not the most important aspect of building a natural restoration. Improving the longevity of daily direct composite fillings according to contemporary science. Focus for of the lecture: modelling techniques, the addition of flowable composite in recreation of occlusal anatomy. Step-by-step procedure for creating direct posterior restorations quickly while keeping the main anatomical landmarks of each tooth. Tips-and-tricks on eliminating prolonged occlusal adjustments and polishing at the end of the treatment. Theory covers both Class I and II day-to-day restorative workflow. Looking into scientific evidence and why things are not always the way they seem. *Hands-on: Class I restorations for both molars and premolars on 3d printed models. Course materials will also include a guide for occlusal anatomy and an anatomy drawing tutorial. |
